This might have been a bad idea. Nonetheless, it’s two things I’m good at so why not give it a try.
For me, winning isn’t something that happens suddenly on the field when the...

As always I’m thinking of ways to put this into the mix. So much to do. Also been thinking A LOT about how to program for the gym and the competitors going forward.
make a door
“I have become my own version of an optimist. If I can’t make it through one door, I’ll go through another door - or I’ll make a door. Something terrific will come no matter how dark the present.”

blessing in disguise
“What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.”

I forgot to post my deadlift session from Sunday.
I did 5 sets of 3 at 225lbs Sumo Deadlifts with a mini band standing on 100lb plates to make it a deficit. Got some tips from Anthony Bainbridge to stay vertical and reset betwen reps.

think positively and masterfully

Just received my 4-disc set of Integral Anatomy DVDs. I have seen various parts of these dvds and they are great. It’s all cadaver work which can be gruesome but Gil Hedley takes extra special care to make these really tasteful and honors the integrity of the donors.
Looking forward to watching them while on the road.

One's primary concern
“One’s primary concern when entering a strength competition is winning. As such, you should be focused entirely on what it takes to win. If you’re already focused on what it would take to win, you should be focused on what you can do to fucking embarrass everyone around you for even showing up.”

Weaken a bad habit
“Habits of thought are mental magnets that draw to you certain things, people, and conditions. Weaken a bad habit by avoiding everything that occasioned it or stimulated it, without concentrating upon it in your zeal to avoid it. Then divert your mind to some good habit and steadily cultivate it until it becomes a dependable part of you.”
